The room’s mountain view is very good, but the bed shape hurt me twice, the side tables were useless, there was no wardrobe or iron, and no staff were available in the morning for breakfast. They say people usually head early for Badrinath, yet the staircases were slippery and I had to be lucky to avoid injury. I understand this isn’t a luxury place, but the value for money is lacking.

The location is awesome and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are big and spacious with magnificent Himalayan views, and it’s well connected—Badrinath Dham, Auli, and Bhavishya Badri are all reachable within an hour. The hotel should keep a hair dryer and an iron handy for guests, and while the food is good, the preparation time is too long and needs improvement.

We had a wonderful stay with our family at Sleeping Beauty – Joshimath; the staff were courteous and well disciplined, making us feel safe. Nothing noteworthy to complain about.

Fair value for money, with friendly staff who go out of their way to help when possible. Sonu Bhutola at reception was especially helpful.
