The location was superb, very close to all the major points of Pylos and some of the best beaches in the area. Even though it was a heatwave for most of Greece during our stay, we never had to use the air conditioning. The rooms were immaculate and very well maintained; each time we came back from the sea, they were in perfect condition. The owners were very friendly, courteous, and always ready to give us any information or help we needed.

The hosts were very friendly on a peaceful, large green estate with beautiful flowering plants. Every day we received delicious local fruit. There was ample parking and good access to four nice beaches, of course by car.

The scenery and the garden were fantastic, the room itself looked gorgeous and the hosts were friendly. The spot was ideal for a hike to Damouchari and Papa Nero. The bed was cozy, it was quiet, and we slept soundly. On the downside, the bathroom was cramped, the water pressure was weak and the hot water never came out. Showering was overall a hassle. The room lacked a kettle or kitchenette. When we asked the hosts for tea because we were ill and needed a hot drink, they charged us for it – odd, since hotels usually offer tea and coffee with a kettle for free. Also, the hosts don’t speak English at all. They mean well, but it was hard to understand them and explain what we wanted, which led to uncomfortable moments. They sat behind us while we ate breakfast and drank tea, not saying a word. It felt like they were watching us, but we couldn’t grasp their intentions.
