I didn’t eat breakfast because it was raining and I’d have to walk in the rain to another hotel for a continental breakfast, so I ate at Cracker Barrel instead. The rooms really need upgrading; the carpet is unsafe for someone with balance issues or using a cane. There was no coffee or filters, just a coffee maker, and no mini soaps or shampoos in the bathroom like most hotels offer. The ice machine didn’t work.

It was kind of close to the boardwalk and spacious, but it wasn't the cleanest.

No phone or wake‑up call, the TV was snowy, the picture light in the living room was out, and it smelled of cigarette smoke even though I requested a non‑smoking room. The clerk said the place was full when I asked for a different room, yet the hotel looked half full—terrible.

I was happy with the suites, but when I first arrived the front desk staff tried to give me a dirty suite with blood on the sheets and a broken air conditioner. I asked for a different room and Sergio said none were better, all looking like room 119. Later, a second gentleman helped me and handed me a new suite that I really liked.
