The place was very nice, exactly as described. The owners responded quickly and were super helpful with any query, for example when we ran out of tea bags they delivered more within the hour. We had entered the wrong location on the Sat Nav from our last stay in Kuta, and it directed us to 'Pondok Buda Merta 2'; the owners were very speedy (within 10 minutes) to arrange a chauffeur-driven buggy to transport all three of us, plus luggage, to the correct location (Pondok Buda Merta!), not too far away. We had an absolute blast in the clear water, clean pool—plenty of room to play 'Marco Polo'—as we did. The place is only a few minutes walk from the main road, making it easy to get a 'Grab' food/drink delivery or bike to/from the villa. Shower water temperature fluctuated, and when we asked how to adjust it, it was still hit and miss. Not a big deal for us, but worth noting. Hot water showers are not the norm in Bali, so it’s fine if it’s not, and a bonus if it is. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans for cooking morning pancakes.
