“Great stay in a lovely holiday, would highly recommend and would happily stay again if I was ever in Cork”
The gym offered an excellent selection of equipment, and the pool, steam room, and sauna were all superb; the room itself was very comfortable, though the pool area could use more seating and a body lotion or shower cap would be a nice addition.
“Nice hotel but not a great sleep”
The decor is beautiful, but the soundproofing is awful—train station noise and night‑time engineering work were loud, with hammering and drilling waking us at 3:00; I wish I’d read reviews beforehand to request a room on the other side of the building; the interior walls are thin, letting us hear other guests in the corridor as if their doors were open, even a whistling guest in the next room; the pillows are lumpy and made of a strange material.
“Won’t be back because of the 100e deposit”
The hotel is very sleek, well‑located, with a comfy bed and a good gym, but the lack of parking is a nightmare and the charges are high; being asked to pay a 100 € deposit feels absurd and unlike any other hotel I’ve stayed at, which makes me hesitant to return.
The location was great, yet the teabags were terrible; we would have dined at the restaurant if the menu had more local dishes, and the trains were noisy.
“Was a lovely place but few small things would make it great.”
The interior is very cool and the staff are friendly, and the food and drinks are great, but the record player didn’t work and no one was available to help at reception because they were busy with a wedding.
