Boyne City Motel

“My stay at the Boyne City Motel was incredibly disappointing”

Nothing really. The room was a closet and not close to what was advertised. The room had a bed, a table, and 2 outdoor garden chairs to sit in. Big stain on the carpet. Coffee for one but there were 2 of us. No creamer - no sugar. Very disappointing. When I told the management, I was told it’s because I used an outside booking company and that’s why it cost so much. If that’s true, I will just book directly myself in the future

Beds were comfy and clean, and the location was good, but the old indoor‑outdoor carpeting smelled like a basement; it should be replaced with tile.

“Overall, good place to stay”

The room was comfortable and clean, yet it was smaller than I expected and the shower was very small.

Convenient and centrally located right near the lake and downtown.

“No frills motel. Clean and convenient. Have stayed here 2 times and both times rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable.”

Convenience was the main highlight.
