The hosts and staff were all super friendly and really tried to make us feel welcome. However, some dishes could use improvement – the choripapas had a chorizo that wasn’t very tasty. Also watch out for bugs; we ended up with two lizards in our room.

The service was excellent, with a lot of effort put into providing great service. I also liked the hotel’s theme and the background music in English. The only downside was the access road, which isn’t paved but is still passable.

The variety of food and the pool were great. Everything else was fine.

The facilities were well maintained, though the pool needed more upkeep. On the second night, the restaurant service failed; we had notified them a day in advance that we’d be dining there, but the chef had other obligations. The staff tried to help and cooked what they could with limited ingredients, but the food wasn’t tasty, and the bill was high. The host worked hard to provide good service. A nice touch was that we were given a larger room. The access road diverges from the main road via an old entryway to Villeta and is unpaved in poor condition.
