Great location. Nice property with a large green patio. The staff are present and helpful. The room only had a tiny mirror on the very small bathroom sink and felt a bit bare.
“Nunca te quedes aquí”
The location and proximity to the lagoon are fine. On Sunday 26 July 2026, our group of 17 arrived at Hotel Casa Ariana. From the moment we got there, we noticed problems with room assignments: we didn’t receive rooms with the numbers or bed sizes we had booked, and the pictures on the website were not real, not updated, and didn’t show the hotel’s actual deterioration. During the stay, there were issues with water supply and hot water in several rooms. In particular, room 2 had no water and no hot water. When we reported it, the manager asked one of our family members to turn on the boiler; that was the only day we had hot water. The next day, the situation worsened: two other rooms also lost hot water, and water supply stopped in two of the rooms we had reserved. On Tuesday, as a “solution” to the lack of water, the manager temporarily gave us keys to two additional rooms, 9 and 7, so we could use the bathroom. On Wednesday night, after returning from our walk, she asked us to return the key to room 9, claiming it had already been occupied; we refused because the lack of water in the two rooms we were staying in hadn’t been fixed and we needed those keys to use the bathroom. Additionally, the air‑conditioning in room 5 failed: the unit dripped and soaked guests’ luggage, so they were moved to room 8. Moreover, there was no paper or soap in the rooms. When we repeatedly asked for them, we were told “this hotel does not provide soap,” and the paper was delivered only after we asked again. We also noticed the towels were dirty, and on the first day of arrival they were wet.
“Las peor experiencia en un hotel de todos los que he visitado en el país.”
The only thing that saved the stay was the location and the fact that the air‑conditioning kept running even without batteries, plus the receptionist was very friendly. We were given room 9, which was filthy – the bathroom even worse, the mattress had holes and was lumpy, the floor was covered in hair, there was no toilet paper (we had to buy some), and the room hadn’t been cleaned at all, so bugs, spiders and ants were everywhere; the minibar was moldy and reeked, one window had no curtains and the other was held up with clothespins, the shower pressure was practically zero so you could barely get wet, there was no Wi‑Fi and the phone signal was poor, and the sink tap constantly leaked – a picture would say it all.
“El personal muy amable y servicial. Nos apoyaron con lo necesario”
The location is very close to the city center and the lagoon. We requested two rooms but were given one for four people, with the staff saying it was full.
“Jo lokacio, szereny korulmenyek”
The location was good, but there was no Wi‑Fi, the bathroom and shower were very cramped, and the kitchen lacked appliances—no microwave or coffee maker. I had to order the kettle separately.
