The wow factor from the window view was incredible—Indian Ocean waves crashed directly below the windows onto the rugged cliffs, and the surf was audible even at night, which was oddly relaxing. We had breakfast and dinner at the on‑site restaurant, both of which left no room for improvement, and from the dining area we also enjoyed a magnificent sea view. Unfortunately, we didn’t spot any whales.

The location is good, but the hotel feels stuck in the 1990s—everything is very old and not very clean. The staff are friendly, yet the place is far too expensive.

I booked an “executive suite” hoping for a comfortable space to sit in the room during the day, but it turned out to be two interconnected rooms, both very basic in furnishings. One balcony door didn’t lock and the windows rattled. The hotel itself is clean but dated and cheaply put together, so it certainly doesn’t deserve a 4‑star rating. The room was very expensive for what I received.

Not neat and tidy—small birds ate and bit on the cupcakes, and overall the place was untidy. The bathroom was smelly, the tiles needed a deep clean, but the view was great. The staff were friendly but need training and proper clothing expected from a 4‑star hotel.
