Great property, great location, no need for a long walk from the harbor—about a 3‑minute walk from the port. Everything was great, just be prepared for no hot water and Wi‑Fi that didn’t work well.

The view overlooking the south port and the tranquil, sunny terraced garden were beautiful. The room was comfortable, warm, and had hot water. Veronica and her partner were extremely welcoming and helpful, arranging a boat to take us to the north, and the breakfasts were delicious. The steps up to the accommodation were a bit challenging, but it was only a short climb from the port and well worth it.

The hostel sits on the lower part of Isla del Sol, which is great because 99% of the accommodations are on the upper side and you have to climb a 200‑step staircase. I didn’t like how the hostel charges for the stay; it passes the entire Booking fee/commission onto the guests. When I look for a place to stay, I always compare price and quality, so if the price isn’t what Booking shows, the comparison with other places loses meaning.
