“Relaxing resort with amazing staff”

The staff were amazing and the food was great when the cook was present, and the pool area was perfect for lounging; however, the hut we stayed in was slated for renovation, so it felt a bit tired, though the air conditioning worked and the view of the water was breathtaking—being the last villa down meant the other villas might not have a beach view. We couldn’t access the beach directly, but an amazing one was just a 10‑minute walk away; the property’s rural setting meant roosters were noisy all day and night, and the distance from everything made hiring a scooter a smart choice.

The location is close to Paliton beach with a breathtaking view of part of Paliton, as we booked a sea‑view room; it’s also near See Kee Hor cafe. The villa can accommodate up to six people, and we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant starts at 6:30 am, and they serve the yummiest omelette; the villa has a balcony and places to hang wet clothes. Water leaked into the bathroom while showering, and because there’s a bathtub instead, it’s dangerous to get out of the tub due to the wet floor, so it’s not recommended for seniors. The staircase in our villa was steep, and ants and flies were plentiful, so regular pest control is needed. Although it’s a walking distance to Paliton, the resort feels dark and narrow at night.

“Best Staff!”

The staff were incredible—nice, thoughtful, and helpful—and they truly improved our experience; we were a family of eight with many requests, all handled amazingly. Ocean views and the pool were nice, rooms were spacious, the restaurant was good and affordable, and overall it was great value. A motorbike or car is useful for getting around, though they can also arrange tuk‑tuk rides. The drive in is a bit narrow, so be careful with a large car. A shortcut to Paliton is less than a 5‑minute walk but isn’t very accessible if it rains. Ocean access remains broken due to a typhoon, so keep that in mind. The rooms were a bit outdated, but the service more than makes up for it.
