Ho trovato comodissima la gestione online del check in e check out che non mi ha condizionato con gli orari. Gli ambienti erano accoglienti e davvero superlativi per la pulizia. Complimenti

The room was large. During the stay, there was a loud, noisy, and annoying gum shop that no one had warned about. By 7–8 pm it was already noisy, and the ventilation system was broken. The mattress was broken, the shower cabin collapsed, there was no bathtub, the breakfast was worthless, no mosquito net, no curtains, and thin walls let all neighbor noise through. The location is on a very busy road, with traffic all day and night.

The host/owner was respectful, polite, and accommodating throughout the stay, but the overall experience suffered mainly from surrounding logistics and municipal transport problems rather than the management itself. Guest House Il Faraone (Gray Room) offers decent value for the price, yet it is strictly recommended only for travelers with a car. Relying on local transport or taxis quickly erodes any savings on the room rate due to hidden travel costs and hassle. Owner & Management scored 8/10, Amenities & Room 3/10, Location & Transportation 1/10. Getting in and out of the area is extremely difficult, especially early morning or late at night. Taxi drivers demand arbitrary “special trip” rates (€15–€20) far above the official fare (~€9). Public bus drivers and Cotral staff overcharge tourists, demanding €7.00 per person for 2–3 stops when the standard fare is €1.10, and escalating these issues locally brought no resolution. The final night was severely disrupted by loud music and karaoke late into the night from a nearby neighbor or upper floor. It is far better to pay €100–€150 per night for a central hotel than to pay a lower room rate here and end up spending €250–€350 on dishonest transportation. The in‑room refrigerator does not cool properly, the bathroom drain clogs repeatedly, and breakfast lacks key staples like milk. The Gray Room has a broken mattress, a collapsed shower cabin, no bathtub, no mosquito net, no curtains, and thin walls that let in all neighbor noise. The property sits on a very busy road with traffic all night. Do not book if you rely on public transport or taxis; book only if you have a private vehicle and need a simple, budget‑friendly stopover handled by a welcoming host.

The room was sufficient, but there were too many lights at night.

The hotel is not far from the airport, but the bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up with bad back and neck pain. The area isn’t the nicest, and the check‑in and check‑out process was strange.
