Mokoro Lodge

“Excellent value, but don’t expect frills.”

The place was extremely affordable and the staff were very nice. The bed was huge and they were very accommodating to requests. The room needed renovations; the kitchenette only had a microwave with a sink and no plates, bowls, or silverware. I could get those from the restaurant and room service was free.

“Decadent place, needs an urgent renovation. Rooms and WCs falling apart.”

The location is fine. The place is run‑down; rooms and bathrooms are falling apart, sheets and blankets are disintegrating, the material is cheap and old, furniture is very old, rooms smell. The entire place needs an urgent renovation.

The restaurant service is okay, and they can pack your breakfast for takeaway if you need to leave early in the morning. It’s managed with no care, a low‑quality spot.

The property sits conveniently at the entrance to Maun, yet the restaurant staff clearly need training because the service was slow; I ended up driving to the malls for dinner.

“Prima verblijf voor je tijd in Maun”

There was a parking spot next to the cabin, but the bathroom was mediocre.
