“Mai più.”
The proximity to the main promenade is great. The air conditioning was not working, and I’m still waiting for a technician to inspect it. I don’t know how previous guests managed when the heat was unbearable. The day before my departure they had already removed our table from the dining room, so at breakfast there was no table for us and we had to ask for a new one. Apparently the guest after us arrived before 10 am, and they asked us to vacate the room before check‑out time, which is outside normal practice. It was raining, we were on a train, and imagine if I had to leave early; I doubt the next guest, even if it were the Pope, would have been asked for something like that. Reception had no single point of contact; the staff keeps changing. The dining staff had a long queue. It’s better to do another job than to be in contact with people.
