“Eine Nacht in Banaue”
The location is good and the view of the rice terraces is grand. The staff put in a lot of effort, and the breakfast was a treat for a European. There was no air‑conditioning, so we had to sleep with the windows open, which was sometimes extremely loud because of the dogs barking and the traffic.
“Highly recommended for budget travellers”
The small staff took good care of guests and the meals at the restaurant were excellent.
“Spacious room with good shower at central location”
The mattresses were very good and the triple room was spacious. The shower was fine. Unfortunately we arrived in Banaue just after the tourist information centre had closed. The young woman at reception didn’t understand enough English to help us when we were pressed for time. Compared to some other places, this one was pricey.

I liked the room size and how close it was to the tourist office. They let us check in early because we arrived at 5 am. They have a cafe and a restaurant. The WIFI isn’t fast enough for work, and the water pressure is low so we didn’t get a proper shower.
The food was good. Because we were planning an early departure, we got breakfast much earlier than scheduled. The room was clean and the balcony offered a nice view. It was quite noisy: cars, motorcycles, tricycles accelerating, dogs barking, and a megaphone from a hall in the valley during the day. The room felt a bit dim. While we were there the house was expanded by one floor, but the construction didn’t disturb us much.
