The history, the space and the overall ambience were all fantastic, and the spa added a wonderful touch. Nothing negative at all.

We spent one night at this lovely hotel with our dog and the pet‑friendly room was very comfortable. The only slight downside was that the main hall was off‑limits for pets; it would have been nice if we could have sat in a room next to the bar. The grounds around the hotel and our room were a bit rough, but overall the pet‑friendly policy was the biggest plus.

The hotel was clean, luxurious, and in a good location. Breakfast service was slow, and the staff couldn't remember our requests, which was most annoying. The eggs were the smallest I’ve ever seen.
