The boss and staff are all nice and gentle, and breakfast and food are delicious, but the room’s soundproofing is too poor – I booked six nights and couldn’t sleep at all on two of them. On the first night the water pump outside the room was too loud, so I had to call the owner at 12 o’clock; they turned off the machine before I could sleep. The fifth night, the day before New Year, at 2:30 am a female tenant downstairs started talking on the phone, and I could hear her voice and her friend’s voice; I thought it would end in about half an hour, but it didn’t, so I went down and knocked on the door hoping she would be quiet. She was quiet for five minutes, then a man in the room talked to her. They then started doing boyfriend‑girlfriend sports, hitting the wooden board loudly, shouting, and it lasted about two hours. I immediately booked another hotel and gave up the sixth night. At 3 am I couldn’t stand it any longer and called the owner, but there was no response. The landlord and staff are really nice and want us to be comfortable, but the actual situation I must tell people who come later to consider and choose carefully.
