The property was a short walk from the central bus station. Half of the rooms looked like they’d been torn down. Our bathroom had a full window overlooking a small courtyard, which was a bit odd. We found many bugs in the bed before we went to sleep, so two of us ended up sharing a single bed. The host was away at the time and I have no doubt this would have been fixed if she had been around, but unfortunately we cut our stay short.

The staff were great and made me feel at home. It was a short walk from town, but nothing crazy.

I stayed for three weeks and Ying and her Aunty were so helpful and kind! The accommodation was simple, but it made you feel at home. I loved my time there and will definitely visit again.

The place looks worn down but that doesn’t ruin it; it’s very pleasant, the beds are comfy, the lighting is nice, and the spot is quiet yet close to everything. Expect a bit of roughness rather than pristine modernity, but it works well and has a lot of charm, and the AC performed nicely. Only issue: a few ants in the room.
