It was great to unwind by the pool and under the veranda after a long journey; having a kitchen was handy—pizza was ordered, baked in the oven, and enjoyed in the evening sunshine, plus the coffee machine was ideal. The only downside: no pizza cutter, but a sharp knife works fine.

The room was spacious and beautiful, the garden lovely and the pool impressive; even though I didn’t swim, I’d love to return. Nothing I could dislike about the property.

The room was nice and well‑equipped, yet it clearly suffered from dampness, a musty odor came from the bathroom, and one of the beds was too soft.

We stayed for one night with our bikes on the way; the host was very friendly and the spa area was simply fantastic.
