Parking was easy to find, the staff were helpful and accommodating, the self‑service breakfast was convenient, and the large restaurant and pub next to the hotel offered excellent dining. Nothing to dislike.

The location made it simple to reach the town centre, and the hotel was right next to a national park, which was great for a walk. We had a family room that was clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The staff were lovely and very helpful; in the evening we brought in takeaway food and ate in the hotel’s restaurant, where Ella was very obliging with plates and cutlery. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise—small eating area but the hot food was brilliant, with a good variety that stayed piping hot. Overall value was excellent and we would definitely return. P.S. check‑out at 12 pm.
