“Good for an overnight stay.”

The reception staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers were amazing, but the building needs renovation and, although it’s near SM Iloilo Mall by car or Grab taxi, it’s far from the city center.

The rooms were roomy and spotless, and everyone from the staff was super helpful, especially for first‑time visitors; the daily buffet kept changing and we liked the local dishes they added. We left feeling content and pleased with everything.

The staff did a solid job, and their attentiveness at breakfast was especially appreciated—great work! The main issues were a broken shower head that didn’t heat properly, a bit of wall noise, Wi‑Fi that failed when we arrived, no pool, and no free ironing cloth.

“An old hotel that has not aged well”

I stayed close to the event I was attending, and the room I received was a decent size, newly renovated, with a good layout, a mini‑fridge, and a safety deposit box. Most of the staff were friendly—the doormen helped call taxis, the waiters were attentive, and housekeeping was efficient. The hotel is old and hasn’t been kept up well; the hallways had a strong unpleasant odor, and my room had mold on the wall—cleaning alone won’t fix that. The tiny vintage elevator moved slowly, the window‑type air‑con had a broken thermostat dial so the fan stayed on high, and when I asked for a 1:00 PM late check‑out twice, the front desk was slow to confirm. I eventually caught an earlier ferry, so the late check‑out wasn’t needed, but waiting at reception for a simple request was annoying.
