“Metzgerwirt”
The rooms were clean, but the advertising still shows images that are no longer current, like the restaurant that had to close. The mattresses were too soft for my taste, so I couldn't get a restful sleep. Check‑in and check‑out were easy, but you first have to find where your booked room is. When we arrived, no staff was on site, so we only found our room immediately thanks to other guests.
“Nie wieder, bitte nicht buchen”
Nothing to praise. The description on Booking was completely inaccurate.
“Vergane glorie”
The hotel feels like a relic of its former glory and no longer meets modern standards; everything is worn, even the faucet in the sink. I did not find the price justified.
The place is a bit out of the way, yet still cozy and the food was fantastic; a walk around the village was a pleasant bonus.
“Prima bed, niet meer dan dat”
The room was clean, the village charming and the location easy to reach by car with ample parking. However, there was no welcome greeting; we only received a key and a brief hint on where the room was. No other information was provided. The rooms were tidy but very sparse, lacking even a drinking glass. Also, if you’re coming from Munich, the approach route is noisy with planes until late.
