I stayed for just one night, parking was right across the street and the staff were friendly, but the rooms were tiny and the shower was directly above the toilet.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the location was perfect, and the shower was nice and hot; it did have a slight damp/musky smell, but that cleared up once I opened the window and turned on the heater.

The price‑quality ratio was excellent, the location is fantastic right at the entrance of the old town and close to restaurants, and the couple running the place were very kind and helpful with any request, leading to many pleasant conversations; the city itself was very enjoyable and, despite the conflict mentioned by some tour guides, everyone was very pleasant. I didn't give it a 10 mainly because the room was on the ground floor facing a street, which might not suit everyone, but it wasn’t a problem for us, and they also have rooms on different floors.

For its price it’s a good option right under the fortress walls, the rooms were clean and everything matched my expectations; I recommend the local cafés directly opposite “Империя”, run by Armenians who are very warm people—this is the best café service I’ve had in Georgia. The staff were polite, the room had a balcony with a great view of the fortress, and I recommend it. The shower stall is combined with the toilet in a small space, which isn’t very convenient for washing, and my friends stayed on the first floor where it was a bit more spacious, but for its price it was fine for me.

“Loved this place!”

This family hotel is lovely and has a fantastic location, the breakfast was fantastic, but the mattress was somewhat worn and could have used a topper.
