Modern, comfy facilities and the location is a bit hard to reach by car because of the ZTL, but it’s worth it. Pasquale was ready to answer any questions and highly recommended! The property sits inside the city’s ZTL, so car access is only allowed during specific times; planning ahead solves that. Another point is the city layout: the hotel is in the lower part of town, so you’ll need to climb many stairs to reach other tourist spots. Stairs are unavoidable in Matera, so it’s more of a heads‑up than a drawback.

A beautiful property in Matera’s historic centre. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk to the main sights. Pasquale was very responsive and helpful with restaurant suggestions, parking tips, and directions to the hotel. The only issue was the absence of air conditioning or a fan, but it was manageable.

Pasquale’s availability was excellent, guiding us well on how to get around the city. The location is very central. The room was very clean, spacious, and the terrace offered a fabulous view over Matera. Nothing to complain about.
