“Genau der richtige Ort für mich”

For anyone, like me, fascinated by the sea and tides, this place in Steenodde with Jan and Petra is perfect: just 2 minutes to the beach and Wadden Sea. Walking or cycling takes 25 to 10 minutes to Amrum‑SPA, Wittdün or Nebel, always along the coast (see photos). I was welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and flowers from the garden (in November!). The kitchenette had everything needed for all meals on a small space. Since most restaurants were closed in November, that was especially useful. The downside is that Steenodder has no bus link – a drawback in November, but in season it probably adds to the soothing quiet and seclusion.

“Erholung pur”

The spot is super quiet and pretty, close to the mudflats, and from the south room you can see a romantic horse paddock. The host is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is big. The room itself is a bit cramped and the bathroom feels a little outdated.

We especially liked how peaceful and idyllic it was. From the window you can watch all sorts of animals – horses, rabbits, goldfinches, seagulls and other birds, among many others. The place is very clean and cozy. The host Jan is nice and friendly.

Jan was so kind and picked me up and dropped me back at the ferry.

The house is beautifully situated right on the mudflats… The room was cozy and spacious, wonderfully prepared with a fully equipped kitchen… The very friendly host offers a shuttle to the ferry… You feel very well taken care of and welcomed… There’s nothing better for five winter days on the island. Perfect!
