“Heerlijke sfeervolle plek”
The boutique hotel had a great vibe with warm colours and a cosy décor. The staff’s English was not very good, which can be a bit tricky at times, but the owner, who speaks good English, was almost always present and ready to help with any questions, and he was genuinely open to positive feedback, even acting on it right away. I suggested a wet‑wipe in the shower because the water didn’t drain properly and ended up in the mirror, and he immediately put one in our bathroom. We had a bit of stomach discomfort and wanted some bread to go with the soup; they didn’t have a point, so they fetched it for us from the bakery. The chef also let us try a special chapati that was less fatty and healthier, and he had the cook make it for us to taste. If music is played on the rooftop terrace, you can hear it in your room, but they asked what time we wanted to sleep so they could accommodate us. The location is great, about a 15‑minute walk to the beautiful fort. Overall, a wonderful time and definitely recommended if you’re looking for a spot in the fort’s atmosphere. We had no complaints, but if you’re a very light sleeper, it can be a bit noisy.
