“The Weekend Package Review”

The check‑in went smoothly, and the front office happily accepted our early arrival. The weekend package was worth every cent, especially the open bar on the 29th floor where I enjoyed a free‑flow drink and buffet dinner. Breakfast downstairs at the main restaurant was superb, offering a wide variety from Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Western, to local dishes. The location is convenient, with malls, restaurants, and local markets all within walking distance. The staff went the extra mile with their service. However, I was disappointed that the pool, expected to be sizable for a 5‑star Marriott, was rather small and underwhelming. There was no bar service at the pool area, and no clear signage for changing rooms or toilets nearby.

The experience was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.

The hotel room exceeded our expectations and looked exactly as shown in the website photos—sleeping was truly delightful. Breakfast tasted great, with a wide selection of products, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the slightly busy atmosphere in the breakfast hall, which felt less relaxed. The staff, while doing their jobs, kept moving back and forth between tables, which could be a bit disruptive. There was only a small quieter spot available, the Blue Martini Lounge, which offered a limited drink selection and little ambiance.

The hotel is luxurious, close to a shopping center, with impeccable bedding, and the breakfast and dinner restaurants are magnificent—especially the oysters, sushi, ice cream, and desserts, particularly the cheesecake. The reservation was made with a deposit and children; we were not pleased that at check‑in we were asked to dine on the 26th‑floor rooftop, which does not allow children under 12, and we were told to bring their food to the room before correcting the situation and were offered to dine at the reception restaurant instead.
