The location was great, but the room was small and the promised window overlooking the courtyard turned out to be a false claim—there was no courtyard, no natural light, and no fresh air, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is well‑located in the city center, but the room was on the ground floor, practically impossible to open the windows. It felt like being in an aquarium. The sink was chipped and the faucet was leaking. They also held a €150 deposit on the card as if we were renting a car, which never happened before.

The room was beautiful with a canal view, the air‑conditioning worked well, and the staff did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only issue was that the price was on the higher side.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location; everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, the coffees were delicious, and the breakfast was a nice continental spread. Our stay was perfect, though note that it’s a UNESCO building, so access is only by stairs.
