The welcome was very good and the room was ideally located, close to the city centre, large and very clean; our hosts listened to our requests and we were delighted with the stay.

A lovely couple made us feel very welcome; the decor paid homage to the 1940s and matched the ambience of St Mère Eglise, and the fresh breakfast products were very good.

Staying with the owners, who are passionate about that unique period of Ste Mère Église and its historically rich surroundings, felt like a true tribute to memory; the house and room, with its 1940s décor, were wonderfully welcoming, and they kindly repaired the broken foot of our bike. The breakfast was perfect, and we’ll definitely return to Valentine 44 if we revisit this beautiful part of Normandy. Nothing to add.
The people were good, but the beds had sheets that were already fuzzing, giving a hard feeling.
Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, and there were no complaints.
