The location is very close to the station, so we could walk easily to the historic sites. The streets, however, have a lot of trash.

Breakfast was disappointing, with only one croissant and one coffee or tea. The rooms were clean and nice, but the house itself was… well, okay.

Breakfast is served directly from a café. We were asked to pay €5 per person per night in cash, which I think was already included in the price, so I felt cheated; the rest of the days at other accommodations (including one in Naples) didn’t charge that extra.

I never actually stayed at the place. They had sent me a message asking what time I would arrive, and I replied with the time. When I got to the address at 21:30, I sent a chat message to let them know I was in front of the building, but received no reply. I called the hotel’s phone number several times, but every call went to voicemail. There was also an intercom number to contact: we tried calling repeatedly, but no one answered. About 30 minutes later I reached out to Booking to explain the situation. They told me to wait another 45 minutes while they tried to get in touch with the hotel. We were left on the street with our luggage until we received an email from Booking saying: “Unfortunately, GB Central Station Napoli has informed us that they can no longer host you from check‑in to check‑out for an unspecified reason provided by the property. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to your plans.” At that point we had to find another place and managed to secure a very nearby accommodation only at 23:50. After settling in the new place, I started receiving messages in their chat claiming they were waiting for me and that I was lying. I replied that I had all the proof: the call logs and chat messages clearly show that I notified them of my arrival at 21:30 and that their first reply came only at 23:48. It was a complete lack of respect and an absolutely unacceptable experience.

The room was spotless, the breakfast at the bar (not the fake breakfasts of some B&Bs) was great, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the furniture in the room, which was very minimal—maybe a bit too minimal. There was only one hook in the bathroom, and there was no shelf to put things on.
