You get what you pay for at this hotel—it’s not the fanciest in Minot, but its proximity to the convention center, the on‑site restaurant, and lobby bar are convenient. The beds were comfortable and the pillows adequate, yet the room still had crumbs on the floor, the shower was mediocre, the Wi‑Fi was poor for work, and some of the guests I saw made me uneasy, though I had no direct issues with them.

The lobby is very nice and the price is good, but the carpet in the room was outdated and dirty, so my socks stayed dirty, and the room isn’t sound‑proof—there was a door connecting our room to the next one, and we could hear the other guests’ TV loud and their conversation while trying to sleep.

The location is good, and it’s the only hotel on the east side of Minot, but check‑in was slow, the elevator moved very slowly, and the staff never mentioned breakfast.

The breakfast was acceptable and the hot dishes were good, but the place needs some updates and renovations.

I rang ahead to confirm the pool would be open for my kids, but it was shut at 7 pm the first night. That was fine, yet the next evening it closed again at 2/3 pm and wouldn’t reopen until 9 am. The manager wasn’t reachable until 6 am the following day, so I had to leave and book elsewhere. On the bottom floor the ceiling leaked over one of the beds.
