The bedroom was beautiful, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

The setting was beautiful, the rooms wonderful, the staff delightful, the food good, and the pillows were SO comfortable! I stayed in the four‑poster bed room, which was lovely but nearly £300 a night—that’s a lot!

The location was gorgeous, the staff lovely, breakfast excellent, the room big and comfortable, the bed good, and the shower and bath facilities excellent. We couldn’t get Wi‑Fi in our room; to stay in touch with friends on a boat we had to keep going to the bar/restaurant for Wi‑Fi, which was awkward. The TV didn’t work, probably because of the Wi‑Fi issues.
