The place and view from Terrasa are beautiful. It was cold inside during winter, especially in the kitchen, which is outside and not clean enough, and not cosy. If you are an ascetic yoga student, you will love it; if you are family, you want more comfort.

The location. I had asked to check out late as I wanted to go for a walk and shower before leaving I did get a reply to say no problem but much later and had already left. Only met the lady at check in. I asked for bedding as we had 2 beds only one was made. did not get a reply until the next day. It was extremely windy doors and widow shutters were banging the first night and second night someone did try close them. It felt too much like the off season. and not ready for guests just yet for 2026.

Schöne Lage auf einem Hügel neben einem Waalweg, gut ausgestattet, gastfreundliche Gastgeber, liebenswerter Hund, der sich über Streicheleinheiten von Gästen erfreute, sehr köstliche Verpflegung (nicht sofort inbegriffen). Nicht ganz sauber im Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsbad, man kann nicht sofort neben der Unterkunft parken, 3km abgelegen von Porto da Cruz (uns hat es nicht gestört), Zimmer könnten besser ausgestattet sein

We had a blast at the Maison ZiaZen. The accommodation is located in a quiet, picturesque area of Madeira. Cilene is a great host: very emphatic, welcoming and hard working: she cooked us a delicious dinner, helped us with the laundry and always offered great conversations. Thank you Cilene for your hospitality!
