I don't even know where to start. The location is a nightmare—far from Tortuguero, and the boat only runs every two hours, sometimes not picking you up. The room was a mess: dirty walls, holes letting bugs in, no hot water, a giant spider, and a party that kept us awake. After a terrible first night, I asked to cancel the second night and get a refund, but they refused, so I had to find another place and lost that night's money.

Only a 10‑minute boat ride to Tortuguero, but way quieter. Right next to the hill excursion, the area feels more charming.

Family‑run, Mrs. Lideth was a fantastic host—friendly, kind, and helped us find a local guide for Tortuguero Channels. The secluded spot is surrounded by nature, perfect for a couple of days of relaxation. The Wi‑Fi was reliable.
