The bed was very comfortable and the décor was lovely; I loved the cookies on the tray. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would have liked decaf coffee sachets in the room because I can’t drink caffeine.

The food was excellent and the room was very nice. I wish the windows had double glazing to block out traffic noise.

Again, our stay at The Rising Sun was not disappointing. From the moment we walked through the door we relaxed and slipped into holiday mode. The staff were so laid‑back and welcoming, especially Harriet, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have nothing to dislike.
