I saved money on an apartment I had booked but it wasn’t available. The gentleman at the bar in the restaurant was fine. The dinner was good (deer ragù). I had a reservation for an apartment, but when I arrived by bike the staff told me the apartment was permanently occupied and therefore unavailable, supposedly because of Booking, which isn’t entirely true because I know how Booking works and they only list rooms the host enters. They also said it would cost me about 1600 Kč, which I expected, and that the apartment isn’t offered for a single night anyway. Instead I was given a 9 m² mini‑room, the lowest category, without accessories (see photo). I had no choice but to accept it (I didn’t want to argue on the spot because I arrived by bike in the evening and needed accommodation). I don’t understand why they didn’t inform me beforehand that the apartment wasn’t available; I would have chosen another place nearby (we normally communicated about other matters via Booking). At least I could use the ladies’ toilet and shower, because the lady was the only one staying in the cabin. In the years I’ve used Booking, this hasn’t happened before; I don’t recommend it! The apartment is still listed.
