“Mini break at Thornwick Bay”
The caravan was well equipped with treats, cleaning products, bedding, towels, etc., and the environment was clean and welcoming. Communication for arrival was good. We spent a long time finding our caravan in the dark 😁.

Cozy and quirky, we had a lovely time and were close enough to visit RSPB Bempton, Flamborough Head, and North Bay. We didn’t use any of the site facilities, but we’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Booking and host communication were very good. The location is a great base to explore the coast and surrounding area, and the Haven park is what you expect from a large holiday park: relatively clean and staff friendly. We had an alarm go off in the caravan next door, had to ask to turn it off twice, but it was eventually sorted. The caravan itself was quirky, had an electric fan and heaters that were useful, fit four adults and one child but felt a bit compact. Treats were left for kids and water was in the fridge on arrival, which was very kind. Overall we had a nice time but would not stay in this caravan again; it could be very nice but needs some TLC. Unfortunately it was not clean and felt very cluttered and unkept: stains on sheets, a dirty air fryer, open fresh bread/pancakes left in the breadbin, grime in the bathroom sink and shower, slow shower drainage, standing water during the shower, and a concerning gas boiler that may have been serviced but has no record since 2017.

The caravan was incredibly welcoming and stocked with everything we could possibly need, even the items we hadn’t thought to bring. It was very comfortable and had WiFi. There’s hardly anything to criticize.
