“Matig”
The sushi place underneath was good. The place wasn’t cleaned properly, looked worn out, and needed a refresh. The price‑to‑quality ratio wasn’t great.

The train departs right from the start of the Zevenheuvelen Trail! The accommodation was good for what I had in mind.

The room was neat and clean. The area around the restaurant and the takeaway spot was not ideal.

When I arrived it was already dark. Inside the building there was no light on the ground floor, though the stairwell and upper levels had automatic lighting. That felt odd because the entrance shares the hallway with the restaurant’s lobby. Finding the key safe was hard in the dark and it turned out to be outside. The bathroom was very old, lacking a shower curtain or enclosure. At room entry, a strange odor lingered, as if the room wasn’t well ventilated. Opening the windows was difficult because a small frame window was present, and the outer window was heavily aged and slightly crooked.
