The staff were outstanding, making us feel at home with smiles and a warm reception at every turn, and nothing seemed too much for them to handle while keeping our stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff were very welcoming. A taxi could stop at the hotel entrance. The terrace was nice, but there was no pool on it. It’s a max‑2 or 3 star hotel that needs a full renovation. I paid 300 Euro/day for a room with no TV, no refrigerator, and no coffee facilities. There were too many stairs to reach the room. The room had no sunny window—just a small window to the inner courtyard. It smelled moldy. Breakfast cost an extra 20 Euro/person per day, and the city tax was an extra 3.5 Euro/person per day.

The welcome was genuine and warm in a beautiful riad that sits conveniently close to many city sights; behind the discreet door lies an oasis of cool water and orange trees, with extremely comfortable beds (great pillows!) and cozy, individually decorated rooms. My room was dark and cool, and I got one of the best nights’ sleep in years. Breakfast and dinner on the rooftop were excellent, served with professionalism and warmth. The owner and concierge are lovely, offering plenty of recommendations for activities and eateries.
