“Pleasant stay in Esmeraldas”
I appreciated the on‑site restaurant, the pool, the music entertainment, and the staff’s helpfulness, which made me feel completely safe, but the wifi was spotty and intermittent, likely because the property is remote, and a floor towel would be useful for drying off after a shower.

However, I was a bit surprised by how far away the hotel was from Esmeraldas city - it's a bit of a trek, especially if you don't have a car. In an emergency, it could be a real challenge to get into town quickly. Overall, it's a trade-off between the nice hotel and the inconvenient location.
