Gilles is an amazing host; everything was perfect, a restful oasis in the city. Breakfast was exceptional, with homemade produce. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean throughout. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I only wish we had stayed longer.

Apart from our host, who was impeccable, friendly, and professional, the house is sumptuous, calm, peaceful, and very well located. In short, it was perfect!

Everything was loved; the place exudes tranquility and well‑being, the ideal setting for a romantic weekend. The décor is chic and staged to delight us! Thanks to Gilles for his insightful gastronomic and cultural tips. We only stayed one night; this beautiful spot deserved more time to wander.

Obviously perfection doesn’t exist, but here we come close to a 10. The hair‑dryer and kettle outlets are not very convenient, but aside from that: what a class, what a style, what décor, what cleanliness, what breakfast (missing savory items) made at home, what welcome, what house—everything! Apart from the two outlets for the hair‑dryers and kettle, I don’t see any other flaws; I had to find something… an omelette or scrambled eggs instead of croissants would be a suggestion, not a defect.
