“This should not be on booking.com - September 2024 visit”
I had a bed when I could get in my room. Host was helpful when she was there. The neighbourhood. Most houses leading upto the accommodation were boarded up including next door. I was given a number lock (that lit up) for my room. This stopped working on my first night, so I could not get into my room. I had to 'sleep' on the sofa, as I could not get into my room. I could not go somewhere else as you need I'd to check in and this was in the locked room. At 715 the following morning the host arrived after multiple messages., and told me I was the only one in the building, and told me to tap the wall to get the number lock to work, she then offered me a different room, and as it had an actual key I accepted. The rooms had 2 visible pest control boxes, and in the first room I had there were bugs running up the walls. I felt sick. The bathroom was a death trap with a plug in standing lamp for light for shower/bath. I did not feel comfortable staying here. I chose this place because it was close to a main bus station. I was quoted one price then money was taken out of my English bank account in euros, that was exchanged into usd plus booking fees. Please triple check before booking
