The surroundings are beautiful, with pristine forests and a convenient, comfortable drive. There are plenty of attractions on site, and the owner is very pleasant. We stayed in a cottage that, although the owner said it was under renovation, turned out to be extremely clean and well-equipped. The only downside was that time seemed to fly by too quickly.

We arrived late at night, found our rooms, and slept well. The beds, showers, and parking met our expectations. Since we didn’t stay long, there isn’t much more to say.

The place is quiet, near a forest and away from crowds, with excellent dinner just for us. The room is clean and fully equipped, there’s a playground for kids and a short walk around the grounds, and the dogs are friendly. The arrival road is dusty and wavy, so you have to drive very slowly.

After more than 13 km of border traffic, we decided to stay overnight before continuing our journey and quickly found accommodation at Gościńc Pod Dębem. The ratings are great, it’s close to the highway exit, and the local breakfast immediately caught our eye. Considering the affordable price and the fact that the small inn had rooms available the same day, we expected a decent stay and found a hidden gem! The grounds are large, beautiful, well maintained, and nicely arranged, with a playground, outdoor gym, pond, meadows, forest, neatly mowed lawns, flowers, trees… The room for 3 people has three separate beds and a sofa, so everyone slept comfortably without struggling with a sofa bed, as often happens in 3‑person rooms that usually have a double bed and a sofa. The hosts gave us a basket with coffee, fruit tea, and water. The room has a fridge and a TV with various channels. Parking is free on the premises. The hosts prepared a fresh breakfast in the morning with homemade blackberry jam, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, and especially their own pancakes with white cheese and mint from the garden. Most products are local, like honey from a nearby apiary. It’s a great place for a stop on the road or a longer break. We didn’t have time to visit the nearby Pszczewski Landscape Park, but we’ll definitely come back. The road to the inn is a paved but non‑asphalted road; there was no problem getting there, but given recent storms and heavy rain, I wondered whether a city car would have trouble leaving in sudden weather changes.
