The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the room was nice. It was quiet and very tidy. The downside is that you need a car; you can't get to the beach or nearby towns without one.

What surprised us most was Maria’s friendly and attentive manner; she not only welcomed us warmly but also shared plenty of cultural and culinary tips. From the moment we arrived, everything fell into place. If you still want to explore, the nearby towns of Carovigno or Mesagne are about 20 minutes by car and offer great dining options. For a beach day, Apani Beach is roughly 12 minutes away, a sandy stretch where you can rent loungers and umbrellas or use the free beach, and it’s also good for windsurfing on breezy days. The property’s location makes it ideal for day trips to Lecce, Otranto, and Gallipoli (both doable in one day), as well as Ostuni, Alberobello, and Locorotondo—all not far away. If you don’t want to leave in the evening, you can enjoy Maria’s traditional cuisine. The pool is well‑maintained and clean, so the Masseria is a pleasant place to relax during the day, especially as a break from sightseeing. There is nothing to criticize; of course, if you prefer noise, clubs, and a lively atmosphere, this place isn’t for you. For us, it was perfect because we were looking for peace and found it.
