A truly unique place – a castle turned hotel where you instantly feel at home, strolling through the impressive rooms and salons. The owner greeted us on the terrace with a glass of Crémant and detailed the restoration of the dilapidated castle from 2020 to 2022, after which it became a hotel. The property is magnificent, with a large park easily accessible via highway and national road, and Tournus is just a few minutes away. The very friendly hosts showed us a number of rooms, each exquisitely furnished and with its own distinct character. We regret booking only one night – it feels like another world. Anyone who loves the extraordinary, modern comfort in a historic setting should consider Chateau Pymont; it’s simply unbeatable.

Chrystal, the owner of the castle, was a fantastic hostess. The reception, breakfast and room were excellent. She runs the chateau alone and still manages to make sure guests have a pleasant stay. It was a wonderful honeymoon and we would definitely recommend the chateau and love coming back. Everything was very good.

The place is in a good spot, easy to reach from the highway and close to two lovely towns in Burgundy, breakfast is great and the garden offers a nice aperitif, the host is very friendly and helpful. The shower is exposed and the bathroom is semi‑open, the interior designer didn’t do a great job.
