“In einem schönen Garten mit Swimmingpool, etwas über alterte Infrastruktur.”

It’s a large resort with many houses in a very interesting garden. There are two swimming pools, one under repair and the other not in top shape. The beds were comfortable. The air‑conditioning worked after an intervention. We received breakfast according to our orders because we were the only guests, and it was excellent. The accommodation itself is impressive and beautiful, but it’s aging and probably only a few guests will stay after PangMu, which, for example, isn’t even mentioned in our guidebook. It also seems doubtful whether this huge garden can be maintained long‑term and whether the infrastructure, which is also aging, can be kept up.

The rooms were very spacious, the facilities were great, everything was clean, it’s close to the center yet quiet, and the staff were amazing.

“Vergane glorie”

A hilarious and beautiful resort with many wooden yellow huts that look stunning, a gorgeous tropical garden, a very kind manager, and a large room with a big private balcony. However, everything felt old and worn out, the resort was completely deserted—just the two of us—and the breakfast was disappointing; the ham on the eggs was dry and stale, and the pool was old, filled with branches and leaves.

“Wonderful get away with superb bed.”

The location was fantastic, making us feel like we were sleeping in a botanical garden—photos can’t capture it. The rooms were spacious, furnished with teak, very luxurious, and the bed was comfortable, giving us the best sleep. The shower was inside the bath, we missed a spot to dry our swimwear, and the small pool looked a bit outdated and uninviting, but the large one compensated for that.
