The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, especially with the kids.
The breakfast was top quality, and I think the price was fair for what we got.
The location is awesome, with hiking trails right out the door and a cave within walking distance.
The room and whole place were really clean, which was a great start.

The breakfast was good and the staff very nice. We still remembered the hotel from East‑German times and felt like we were traveling back in time. However, reaching the top floor requires a decent amount of walking.

The breakfast was fantastic and the owner took good care of us. The soaps, however, were heavily scented; a more neutral option would have been nice.
The breakfast was good. The owner was very pleasant and did everything to make me comfortable. The place is a bit worn out; I couldn’t get hot water in either the shower or the sink. It would have been okay if the price were lower.

I didn't expect luxury, but I got plenty of history and genuine, warm hospitality! The beds were good, the location was excellent, and breakfast was great. It turned out to be one of our highlights on the Hexenstieg!
