This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, especially in Thailand; the room was old and filthy, with oil and hand marks on the mirrors and wardrobe, dirt on the floor and windows, rust on the taps in the washroom and even on the wall nails. We paid an exorbitant price – double what was advertised for the season – for a room with holes in the mosquito net that was supposed to keep endless insects out, yet bugs swarmed inside and out. All the hotel facilities were dated and dirty, promising a “nature” experience but delivering a survival‑training vibe that was disgusting. I could only attach three photos to show how terrible it was: a dead cockroach in the bathtub and mosquitoes on the walls. Getting there required taking a boat from the central pier in Krabi and then walking a quarter‑hour with luggage to a dock, with no proper assistance from the hotel, or paying for another pricey boat. All transport from the hotel was cumbersome because boat services ran only at very limited times, forcing us to stay on the premises and pay high prices in the restaurant and shop. The front desk service was shocking, no phone answer, and the staff spoke in a rude, dismissive manner unlike the courteous service found elsewhere in Thailand.

The location was amazing, the staff super friendly, good breakfast, and incredible views. We woke up with what looked like bed‑bug bites, probably because they brought a mattress topper for us the second night, and from then on we got the bites.

Everything was gorgeous, the breakfasts were great, the views were stunning, and we just fell in love with the place.

With my husband, we really enjoyed the hotel, its close proximity to nature, and the staff who were truly top! The breakfast is good and changes depending on the day. The pool is clean with a sublime view. Everything was perfect; some comments mention the noise from boats being annoying, but that didn't bother us at all—just remember that it's the only way to get here. We will definitely come back! Nothing at all.
