The location was great and easy to find. A short walk further back gives parking for the car behind the building. Warm welcome from Serge and Babette, who took great care of breakfast. The room had a cozy vibe, was very clean and comfortable with kitchenette equipment. Thanks to the owner for the upgrade. In a group of four, three people found the bedding a bit too firm; I slept wonderfully thanks to the multiple pillow and cushion options. The street side is a bit noisier in the morning due to the school car passage and slow traffic, but it’s a minor detail. The staircase to the room is steep and not suitable for people with reduced mobility; it’s better to check with the owner before booking. We didn’t find it a problem because the garden side was more comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with unlimited coffee, tea, milk, etc. Homemade bread, butter, preserves, spiced bread, and the cake were great. There was an option to buy local homemade products, which was appreciated. We couldn’t use the pool and spa due to lack of time. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Nothing was wrong; it was perfect for us. While searching for a small bite… maybe a yogurt, a small fruit salad, and/or cheese for breakfast would be nice.
