The location on Koh Tao was generally nice, and the hostel vibe offered a chance to meet other travelers. Unfortunately those positives couldn’t offset the significant shortcomings during my stay. The shower in my room didn’t work, so I couldn’t shower properly. The Wi‑Fi was also non‑functional, which is crucial for me as a traveler. Moreover, the overall hygiene and local conditions were far worse than expected and didn’t match what I saw in the booking photos. Because of these serious issues, I decided to leave the accommodation early on 19.08, even though I had originally booked until 23.08. I did not leave voluntarily for personal reasons; I left because the conditions were unacceptable. I had reported the problems and then booked another place at my own expense.
